Hendon completed their first league double of the season as they beat Thamesmead Town 5-2 at Earlsmead this afternoon.
As has so often been the case this season, there was an early goal, this time in the Greens' favour when Tony Taggart found the back of the net in the 4th minute. Jefferson Louis scored his 10th goal of the season shortly before half-time to double the lead.
Louis scored again in the 48th minute, and Dave Diedhiou put the Greens 4 goals clear on the hour mark. Thamesmead pulled a goal back with 10 minutes to go, before Anthony Thomas scored the fifth but there was still time for the visitors to score a second consolation.
