The first team's slim hopes of reaching the play-offs finally came to an end tonight following their 2-1 defeat at Metropolitan Police.

As it happens, even if the Greens had won, the fact East Thurrock United won 2-0 against Harrow Borough meant that the Greens would still have been out of the race.

The boys in blue were 2-0 ahead at half-time, whilst the Greens scored a late consolation thanks to Kambo Smith, his first goal for the club.
