Hendon were beaten in the semi-finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup for the second year in a row this evening as they lost 3-2 at Hampton & Richmond Borough.
However, the Greens put in a very good account of themselves despite going two goals down in the first 11 minutes. However, as soon as Carl McCluskey pulled a goal back in the 17th minute, the game was then very even.
The next goal didn't come until the 86th minute when Michael Peacock scored a deserved equaliser, but, with just a minute of normal time left on the clock, Berkley Laurencin didn't get hold of a clearance, and the ball fell to a Hampton player who lobbed the ball into the net to score the winner.
