It is with sadness that we have heard of the passing of Steven Cheesewright earlier this week, who was one of our regular supporters.

Steven, who died aged just 30, had been battling cancer for the past two years, and passed away with his family at his side.

He first came to Hendon games as a youngster with his Grandad, Don, and they travelled together home and away, and Steven kept up his support right to the end, and he was able to be at the FA Cup tie at Luton a few weeks ago.

On behalf of everyone at the club, Greensnet would like to send our sympathies to Steven's family and friends at this very sad time.
