An outstanding team performance ensured that Hendon picked up all three points at AFC Hornchurch this evening with a 1-0 victory.

The defensive performance was excellent, with Frank Sinclair absolutely immense in the back four. The goal, which turned out to be the winner, was scored in the 25th minute by Elliott Godfrey, but before that Sinclair was very unlucky to see his superb shot rebound off the crossbar with the Urchins keeper beaten all ends up.

Whilst AFC Hornchurch had plenty of pressure in the second half, the defence were able to soak up the pressure, and indeed it was the Greens who had the better chances in the second period, and with the defence in fine form, they were able to keep their second clean sheet in succession to secure all three points.
