Archive updates continue

The website archive is continuing to be updated on a regular basis, with plenty of data during the 1920s and 1930s now having been entered as well as the second world war years.

Whilst there are still several hundred games for which we don't have the line-ups (and in the pre-2nd world war years, goalscorers), there are now less than 150 games for which we don't have the date the game was played.

There are now over 5200 matches on the archive, and just over 2000 players on the database.

The reserve and youth archive is now gradually being built up, and whilst this will be much tougher to complete, we do already have data to hand going back to the early years of the club.

We are also aiming to finally make some real progress with the league table archive over the next few months. It's not that we don't have the data - we do - but it's just a very time consuming process to get the data into the database that generates the league tables.

We are very grateful to those supporters who are continuing to feed information through to us, particularly Rob Wakeley and Chris Rogers who have been spending many hours researching in the Newspaper Library in Colindale.

As always, if you would like a list of the matches for which we are still looking for the team data, please email us on admin@hendonfc.net. That is also the address to use to send any data or information that you may find.
