The first team make the long trip into Kent to play Margate tomorrow afternoon as they aim to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Margate will be a tough test however, with their only defeat so far this season coming at the hands of Lowestoft Town. In their other games they have drawn at Wealdstone and Hastings United, won at Horsham, and beaten Aveley at home. Their most recent game was the win at Horsham, in which Tom Bradbrook scored both goals for the Gate.
Margate are back under the leadership of Chris Kinnear, who was previously manager of the club from 1996 through to 2006. During his five year break from the club, he spent some time scouting for Wolves.
Like ourselves, Margate have signed a number of new faces during the summer in a bid to push their way up the league table. The new faces include goalkeepers Simon Overland and Jack Smelt, defenders Mark Corneille and Dean Pooley, midfielders Richard Avery, Matt Bodkin, Adam Burchell, Liam Coleman, Dean Grant, Ashley Groombridge and Dan Stubbs, along with forward Kewsi Appiah.
The Greens go into the game without Aaron Morgan, who broke his foot in the incident that saw him shown the red card on Sunday afternoon. Elliott Brathwaite, Jerome Federico and Lee O'Leary are still on the injury list, but the good news is that James Fisher and Isaiah Rankin are both available for selection.
Rakatahr Hudson has gone to Potters Bar Town to get some game time, whilst Liam Hind, who began the season on a dual registration at Northwood, is now at Walton Casuals to gain some match fitness. Both players are very much in Gary's plans.
There are still some spaces on the coach to Margate, bookings must be made by 10pm this evening, seats are priced at £10 each, and you will be advised on the departure time upon making your booking. If you would like to book, please call Steve Rogers on 07748 526594. Please don't email as we may not get a chance to check the emails this evening.
Kick off at Hartsdown Park tomorrow is at 3.00pm.
