The first team make the trip across London tomorrow afternoon to face Carshalton Athletic who, like ourselves, are unbeaten so far this season. However, they have dropped points, as they drew 0-0 at home to Wealdstone on Saturday, having won 2-1 at Canvey Island last Saturday.
The Robins have made a string of new signings during the summer, including goalkeeper Nick Hamann, defender Kieran Murphy, midfielders Billy Cook, Francis Quarm, Dean Lodge and Tom Davis and striking trio Dean McDonald, Paul Vines and Laurent Hamici, although the latter is reported to be out injured for three weeks.
Last season, Carshalton finished 2 places and 6 points better off than the Greens, although both teams won their respective home games. A late goal from Mariusz Serwin earnt the Greens a 1-0 win at Vale Farm in September, whilst Carshalton won 2-1 on the final day of the season at Colston Avenue, with Aaron Morgan scoring for Hendon.
Kick off tomorrow is at 3.00pm, and admission is £10 for adults, £6 for senior citizens and £3 for under 16s (who must be accompanied by an adult). Programmes are priced at £2, and if you are driving, please be advised that there will be a £2 parking charge.
