It has been announced this week that Jon-Jo Bates has signed an 18 month contract with League One side Dagenham & Redbridge.
JJ has been on a dual registration with Bedfont Town this season, where he has been playing regularly since the beginning of October, and it was whilst he was there that he came to the attention of Daggers manager John Still following some impressive displays. There are no fees involved with the transfer as JJ was a non-contract player.
JJ made just the one competitive appearance for the Greens, that coming as a substitute in the Middlesex Senior Cup tie at Wingate & Finchley.
Everyone at Hendon would like to congratulate JJ on securing his contract at the Daggers, and we wish him very good luck as he bids to kick start his professional career. He will be wearing the number 38 shirt for his new club.
