It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of long-standing supporter Mr Gordon Lamb, who passed away on Monday aged 91. Mr Lamb, as he was known to many supporters, had been supporting Hendon since 1932, and must have been our oldest and longest serving supporter.

He was a regular attender throughout most of his life, and was still attending games occasionally until just over a year ago accompanied by his son Chris.

It is believed that he was one of the supporters that built the covered terracing at Claremont Road.

Everyone connected with the club send Mr Lamb's family their condolences at this sad time.
