Preliminary discussions took place at the Ryman League AGM last week regarding a possible restructuring of the league. The suggestion is that the league move to a Premier Division of 24 clubs, with a Division 1 North and South below them. 4 clubs would be relegated from the Premier Division, and 2 each would be promoted from each Division 1. As for the remaining clubs who would not be included in this, nothing has been stated, so it could be assumed that they would return to lower league football. It must be stressed that these were only preliminary discussions, and further meetings will take place during the season.
