Ex-Don, Phil Gridelet has been re-signed by Frank Murphy for Hendon, along with Andy Iga (second choice 'keeper from last season) and David Adekola (trialist from Walton and Hersham). The former Barnet, Barnsley, Southend and Woking player, Phil Gridelet, left Hendon in the late 1980's and enjoyed a long career in the top flight. He also made Non-League international appearances for England while still at Hendon, the first one away at Italy, and then at home to Wales at Kidderminster in March 1989. Eight months later, he was transferred to Barnet for a reputed fee of �8,000 with a sell on fee, which was duly collected when he joined Barnsley.
