Hendon player coach Curtis Warmington was down in the dumps following his knee injury in the FA Cup tie against Ford United in October, but things got better for him last week when he won a bagful of prizes on BBC Radio 2. He took part in the Steve Wright Show in the afternoon programme and came away with a collection of books and videos. He is the 4th Hendon person in under a year to take part in TV or radio shows: Press Officer David Ballheimer was No.1 seed and losing semi-finalist on Channel 4's Countdown show, then midfielder Freddie Hyatt appeared on ITV's Wheel of Fortune and club odd-job man Harry Manners was a first-round loser on Channel 4's 15-to-1.
