Hendon will be the happier side tonight following their 1-1 draw at Ashford Town (Middlesex). The home side had the better of the game, but went behind in the 70th minute when Peter Dean bundled the ball home from close range after excellent work from Wayne O'Sullivan. The equaliser came 10 minutes later when Billy Jeffreys headed home a corner from former Hendon midfielder Paul Johnson.
