It was a disappointing performance this afternoon as an injury weakened Hendon side lost 2-0 at home to Bedford Town, the first home defeat since mid-March. In front of the biggest league crowd since January 2000, Bedford took the lead in the 17th minute when Rob Miller scrambled the ball home. The lead was doubled five minutes before half time when Kevin Slinn fired a fine shot past David Hook. Hendon's best chances fell to Martin Randall and Paul Yates in the second half, but no one was really able to force Eagles keeper Steve Wilson into a save.
