The results in the Premier Division this afternoon generally went the way of the Greens. Leaders Aldershot Town slipped up again, losing 2-1 at Braintree Town, while second placed St Albans City lost 3-1 at home to Maidenhead United. The only side in the top six this morning to win were Purfleet who beat Hampton & Richmond Borough 5-2 to replace St Albans in second place. Fifth placed Sutton United drew 0-0 with Bedford Town, which means that Hendon remain fourth with games in hand on the top three, and handily placed to keep up the challenge for the Championship as we go into 2003.
