Tomorrow afternoon, Hendon entertain Billericay Town at Claremont Road, kick-off 3.00 pm. The two teams met at New Lodge in late August and the game ended goalless, the Blues hanging on for an hour with 10 men after Alvin Bubb, cousin of Hendon's Byron, had been dismissed. Coincidentally, both Bubbs left their clubs within a few weeks of this game and are now teammates at Slough. Last season, Hendon lost the second game of the campaign 3-1 at home (Simon Clarke scoring), but the return was one of the greatest games of all-time. It ended 6-4 to Hendon with goals from Mark Cooper, Micky Woolner, Steve Forbes, Dale Binns (2) and Eugene Ofori, and Hendon also contributed 3 own goals to Billericay's tally! Billericay are currently in 10th in the Ryman League Premier Division following their 1-1 draw at home to Aylesbury last Saturday, but they do have the tightest defence in the division with just 18 goals conceded so far.
