Tomorrow afternoon, the Greens make the trip York Road to take on Maidenhead United in the Ryman League Premier Division. The Magpies, produced an excellent performance on Saturday to record a 3-2 win at Hitchin with striker Lawrence Yaku scoring twice and being fouled for the penalty which former Hendon man Paul Kelly converted for the winner. The victory lifted Maidenhead up to 12th in the table, with 39 points, 10 fewer than 6th-placed Hendon. They weren't in action during midweek as their County Cup derby with Slough Town fell victim to the weather. When the teams met at Claremont Road in September, Brian Haule scored a late equaliser for Hendon in a 1-1 draw. Last season at York Road, an early Phil Ruggles goal for the Greens was not enough as Maidenhead netted 3 times in the second half; in the return, the game ended 1-1, with Ricci Crace scoring for Hendon. The teams also met in the FA Trophy and goals from Ross Pickett and Paul Yates were enough to give Hendon a 2-1 away victory. Kick off for both games is at 3.00pm
