A goal from Rob Haworth was enough to ensure Hendon took all three points at Maidenhead United's York Road ground this afternoon and that the Greens just about stay in touch with the leading clubs in the league. A workmanlike performance suggested that the Dons deserved the three points, despite Maidenhead having a good proportion of the posession. The goal came in the 25th minute, when Dale Binns hit a shot across goal that would have gone wide, had Haworth not arrived on the end, to wrong-foot the 'keeper and sent the ball into the other side of the net. Both sides created more chances, although neither goalkeeper had a lot to do, most of what was created being relatively simple to deal with, or deing put wide.
