Tonights County Cup game, which probably should never have started, was abandoned shortly before half time due to a frozen pitch. The score at the time was 1-1. Carl Hunt gave Wealdstone the lead in the 12th minute with an excellent goal, just a minute after coming on as a subsitute for the injured Rob Courtnage. Dale Binns equalised from the penalty spot after Eugene Ofori was brought down on the edge of the area by Dave Ryan. The match was abandoned by the match referee after discussions with his assistants and both managers, but only after Wealdstone keeper David Godfrey was stretchered off having gone down holding his chest with suspected cracked ribs, which may well have been suffered as he made a couple of top quality saves on the solid pitch. No new date has yet been announced for the rearranged game.
