Hendon FC has been selected by The BBC Media Trust to take part in a documentary which will air on BBC2. The programme will follow the women in their efforts to raise funds to deliver Brazilian soccer sessions for girls in deprived areas. Hendon's aim is to focus on LB Brent which is 13th most deprived London borough, with five wards falling within the ten per cent most deprived in Britain.

The team will meet with PR experts and image consultants who will assist them to raise awareness of the women's game and to develop funding opportunities. One event will be staged on 13th April at Claremont Road and has the support of many Premiership clubs including Arsenal and Charlton.

Lou Panteli, head of the women's development team says, "we hope that everyone at Hendon will come along to support this event. Our aim is to raise £10,000 to deliver a 3 year programme to raise awareness of the game, reduce barriers and increase participation amongst girls in the London Borough of Brent."
