Hendon were made to pay for three individual defensive errors this afternoon as they lost 3-2 at Yeading. After soaking up plenty of pressure, an error by Danny Butler saw DJ Campbell take advantage to open the scoring in the 39th minute. Within ten minutes of the restart the game looked to be out of reach as Campbell and then Davis Haule took advantage of further errors to treble the advantage. However, the Greens refused to give up and in the 78th minute pulled a goal back when Mark Nicholls was brought down in the area by Delroy Preddie and it was Nicholls that converted the spot kick. Six minutes later Usif Bangura opened his account with a close range header after Dave Sargent's shot had hit the bar. Hendon were unable to find a third goal despite their best efforts in the dying minutes.
