The first team make a quick return to action tomorrow afternoon, and will be aiming to put the disappointment at Tonbridge to the back of their minds as they entertain Dover Athletic at Claremont Road. Kick off will be at 3.00pm. Dover currently lie 20th in the table having lost their last four games, most recently losing 3-1 at home to Braintree Town yesterday afternoon, their goal coming from Craig Wilkins. The Lilywhites finished last season in the bottom four of the Dr Martens (Southern) League, just a couple of years after being relegated from the Nationwide Conference. One of Hendon's finest victories of the past ten years came at Dover's Crabble ground, in the 1996 FA Cup third qualifying round. A goal from Paul Kelly, early in the second half, and an inspired performance in goal by Jan Wagennar was enough to give the Greens a 1-0 victory and led to the club's first FA Cup 1st round proper appearance for eight years (and the first of four in a row).
