A 54th minute Eugene Ofori goal was enough to earn all three points for Hendon this afternoon against Dover Athletic. In a dour first half, the best chance to open the scoring fell to Dover striker Craig Wilkins shortly before half time. The Greens came out in determined style in the second half and were rewarded when Ofori fired home a rebound after John Frendo had hit the post while laying on the ground. Hendon were reasonably comfortable for the rest of the game, and had a few half chances to extend the lead. The result moves the Greens into fourth place in the table.
