A brace of goals from Elliot Onochie was enough to see Staines Town win 2-0 this evening at Claremont Road. Hendon had an early blow when they let Onochie in to score in the 2nd minute. However, it was noticable that the level of effort from the team was much improved than recent games, even if things didn't go to plan. Everyone worked hard, particularly in the second half, but just as the Greens felt they might nick an equaliser, Staines hit back and in the 79th minute a shot from Onochie appeared to take a deflection that wrong footed Dave King on its way into the net. Staines then held on comfortably to take the three points home.
