There were another two new faces in the line up this afternoon for the game against Braintree. Joining from Edgware Town is goalkeeper Darren Bonfield, who has played for a number of clubs including Boreham Wood, Hemel Hempstead Town and Wealdstone, while returning to the club is striker Joe Nartey, who made 7 appearances in the 2001/02 season scoring 3 goals. Also returning to the club is Dave Hunt, who has spent the past three months on loan at Hertford Town where he has had a successful time. Meanwhile, defender Mark Burgess has moved to Hornchurch where he has rejoined former manager Tony Choules. However, it has been agreed that we will keep Mark registered on Ryman League forms, and the door remains open for him to return at any time. So far, Mark has made 97 first team appearances for the club, and we thank him for all his efforts over the past few years and hope to see him wearing the Hendon shirt again in the future.
