League points remain elusive for Hendon as they suffered their fourth league defeat in succession as despite another hardworking performance, Braintree Town ran out 3-1 winners this afternoon. The Greens took an early lead through Mark Nicholls drive in the 7th minute, but were dealt a blow on the stroke of half time when Alex Revell headed the ball home at the far post. In the 55th minute James Baker scored when the Hendon defence failed to deal with a corner, and it was a similar story ten minutes later when Ellis Remy scored. Try as they might, the Greens were unable to get back into the game, and will now be hoping to pick up points in a fortnight when they play Cheshunt.
