It is with some disappointment that Gary McCann had to confirm over the weekend that Rakatahr Hudson is currently unable to commit to the club. Raki is currently studying a very intensive course at University and he feels that with the time he needs to devote to that and his personal life, he is unable to make the commitment required to the club. Gary would like to thank Raki for all his efforts over the past two years since he joined the club, during which time he made 97 appearances, scoring 7 goals. Gary, and everyone else at the club wish Raki for the future, particularly with his studies.
Coming the other way is Will Viner, who made a big mark in his debut on Saturday, saving two penalties and helping the Greens through into the last eight of the London Senior Cup. The eagle eyed will have seen that Will has been around the club and training for some time with us, often taking part in pre-match warm ups with the other goalkeepers. Will may also be a familiar face to some as he played in our youth system for some years, starting at Under 13s level, before eventually featuring in Barnet's academy. Will also appeared against the Dons a couple of years ago in a friendly at Carshalton before moving to APEP Pitsilia in Cyprus.
