Last night's game at Bury Town was Gary McCann's 300th competitive game in charge of the club since his arrival as manager in February 2005. Since that first game at Claremont Road against Cheshunt, he has overseen 236 league games and 64 cup matches.
Of those 236 league games, we have won 88, drawn 50 and lost 98, scoring 343 goals, and concededing the same number. 314 points have been attained.
In the 64 cup matches, we have won 31, drawn 11 (of which 4 have been won on penalties and 2 lost), and lost 22, scoring 135 goals and conceding 95.
That means in total under Gary's leadership we have won 119 games, drawn 61 and lost 120. 478 goals have been scored, with 438 conceded.
In addition to his 300 games in charge, Gary made 196 appearances as goalkeeper between March 1997 and September 2003, meaning that he is just 4 games away from having been involved in 500 Hendon first team games as either goalkeeper or manager.
Everyone connected with the club would like to congratulate Gary on reaching this milestone, and we are all looking forward to the next 100 games and beyond.
