Once again Hendon didn't get the rewards their hard work and effort deserved as they went down 4-1 at Horsham. Takumi Ake gave the Greens the lead in the 10th minute with a superb strike from 25 yards, but Jamie Taylor equalised just three minutes later before Lewis Taylor gave Horsham the lead on the half time whistle.
The Greens started very brightly in the second half, and indeed controlled the game for 20 minutes but were unable to find the finishes the build up play deserved leaving goalkeeper Gareth Williams untested. Jamie Taylor extended the lead in the 66th minute as he completed a fine counter attacking move and the final goal was also his hat-trick goal when he converted a penalty.
