It was County Cup weekend for two of our youth teams yesterday, and it was good news for the under 14s who eventually saw off the challenge of Kodak winning 5-4 on penalties following a 3-3 draw after extra time. The score at full time was 2-2. Nestor Bokoli scored twice with Kevin Amankwah scoring the third. Joel Thomas was the hero however as he saved Kodak's decisive fifth penalty in the shoot out. It was less good news for the under 16s who were given something of a footballing lesson by Pinnacle who ran out 6-1 winners. Lamal Brown scored the goal for the Greens.
The under 13s were in league action for their first ever game under the leadership of manager Ben Schiffer-Harte and his assistant Nick McMullen. They were rewarded with a 6-3 victory over Harlington, Luke Azuma scoring twice with Kobina Simpson, Michael Acheampong, Abdul Sattir-Nazin and Nazir Sherzay also finding the back of the net.
