The FA Cup campaign starts in earnest this weekend, with Cheshunt being our visitors on Sunday afternoon. The Hertfordshire side reached this stage by beating Cockfosters 2-1 in a replay, following a 2-2 draw in the first game.
Our opponents currently lie in 14th place in Division One North with 4 points from their 4 games. Their solitary win came at home against Great Wakering Rovers, whilst their most recent game was a 0-0 draw at Redbridge on Tuesday evening.
Gary McCann and the squad will be keen to make a good start to the cup campaign following last season's run to the fourth qualifying round where we lost to Woking and they would be delighted to see as many supporters as possible at Vale Farm for the game which will kick off at 3.00pm.
Supporters travelling by public transport will need to be aware that the Bakerloo Line and London Overground are not running between of Queens Park and Watford Junction, although replacement buses will be operating. Also, the Piccadilly line is not operating between South Harrow and Uxbridge, although if you are travelling from Central London, trains will be operating as normal to Sudbury Town.
