The reserves picked up a very good point at Leytonstone when Frank Allen scored for us in a 1-1 draw to keep our boys at the top of the table.

The reserve team, playing away to Corinthian-Casuals, came away with a fine 4-0 win. All four of our goals were scored by Peter Anderson, who thus carried on from where he left off the previous Tuesday when he scored three against the RAF.

Our boys hit five against Woking in spite of missing a penalty in a good 5-1 victory. Newcomer, Chris Joy, having a run out with the reserves registered his arrival by heading the first goal from a Peter Slater cross. Further goals came from Moss, Brooks, Allen and Slater.

The reserves completed a hat-trick of wins with goals from Jim Jenkins and Rod Sparks giving us a 2-1 victory at Dulwich Hamlet
