Former Staff - David Hyde

Joined the club in the summer of 1963 ahead of the club's first season in the Isthmian League from Enfield and went on to score 37 goals in his debut campaign as the club finished runners-up to Wimbledon. The following season he scored a record 59 goals (in just 54 matches) as the club clinched the treble of Amateur Cup - in which he scored twice in the final - Isthmian League and Middlesex Senior Cup. Scored a hat-trick at Highbury in a 4-3 win against Arsenal and played in the 1966 Amateur Cup Final against Wealdstone before leaving to turn professional with Wimbledon. Later had spells with Brentwood Town and Cambridge City.
