Former Staff - John Baker

Quality striker who was a key part of the successful Hendon side of the 1970s. Signed from Kingstonian in 1969 as a 19-year old, John played a pivotal role in the 1972 Amateur Cup and 1973 Isthmian League & Barassi Cup winning sides and scored double figures in each of his seven seasons with the club. Left in the summer of 1974 for Leatherhead before returning in 1975 for a year, his third and final spell came in 1980/1 and ended with 138 goals in 346 appearances for the club.
