Midfielder signed in July 2019 having left Royston Town. He began his career at Colchester United and went on to see service with Wealdstone and Lowestoft Town on-loan, before moving onto spells with Chelmsford City, Hayes and Yeading United, St Albans City (twice), Hemel Hempstead Town and AFC Sudbury. Sam announced his retirement at the end of the 2021/22 season before taking up a new job in Zurich.
