Former Staff - George Bucci

Son of Dominic Bucci, one of the club's founders, George made his debut in 1926 at the age of just 15 years old, beginning a career with the club that would end almost 20-years later in 1945. Signed amateur forms with Arsenal in 1928/29 and appeared for their reserves before doing the same with Watford. He won a county cap for Middlesex, appeared three times for the Athenian League and scored twice at Wembley Stadium in the 1945 Middlesex Red Cross Cup win over Tufnell Park. Went on to become a committee member.
