Sam returned to Hendon in mid October 2007 for a second loan period from MK Dons. The tall, young defender scored on his debut for the club in his first loan spell in late September 2006 and impressed enough that manager Gary McCann re-signed the youngster for a three month spell in 2007/08. Sam returned to Milton Keynes in January 2008, but within a few days was on his way back to Claremont Road permanantly folowing a mutual agreement between the clubs. Sam moved on at the end of the 2007/8 season to reduce his travelling time and signed for Horsham the following season.
