Summer 99 signing from Metropolitan Police where he had played for 6 years. Having previously played for Newport County, Paul earlier graduated from the FA School of Excellence before going on to become England Youth Captain and also winning the FA Youth Cup whilst with Watford. Left the club in the summer of 2003 as he relocated to the New Forest.
