Experienced central defender with over 250 Football League appearances under his belt. Joined in January 2012 following his release from Bradford City. Began his career at Derby County, and also had spells at Southend United and Wycombe Wanderers. Was in the squad that were runners up in what is now the Johnson Paints Trophy in 2004 and 2005 whilst with Southend, with whom he also won the League 2 Play-Offs in 2005 and the League 1 title in 2006. Earnt promotion from League 2 whilst with Wycombe in 2009.
