Inside foward who played for Royal Naval Depot, Chatham against Hampstead in the Amateur Cup in 1927-28. On leaving the Navy he played a few matches for Grays Athletic.
Signed for Hampstead in time to make his debut at Enfield in a friendly in mid-March 1929, subsequently playing in most of the remaining matches at the end of the 1928-29 season
