Irish-born goalkeeper who was the first-choice during the 1923/24 season, replacing Cyril Evans shortly before Christmas 1922. Retired from football at the end of that campaign to concentrate on his career as a professional tenor singer, but later took up football again and gained an FA Amateur Cup runners-up medal with Barking in 1926.
