Percival Arthur Rees joined the club during the 1930-31 season, initially playing in the reserves at centre-half, and making his first eleven debut at the end of March 1931. Remained as first choice centre-half for three days short of two years, making his final appearance in the losing A.F.A. Cup semi-final in March 1933. Three weeks later he made his debut for Finchley.
