Schoolboy International. Joined the club from the defunct Hendon club in summer 1933, moving on to Park Royal in summer 1934, later joining Wealdstone. Moved to Enfield from Wealdstone and appeared in 1939 pre-season trial matches. Also represented Middlesex and England. Died in University College Hospital March 1960 aged 48. Lived in Waltham Cross and worked as a chauffeur at C.W.S cabinet works in Lincoln Road.
While with Golders Green he became the first known player since the club's foundation in 1908 to be dismissed from the field during a match for foul or violent play, this occurring at Sutton United in May 1934.
