Lee Allinson and the Greens saw their first defeat of his time at the helm as they were overpowered by a title chasing Swindon Supermarine.

The game started uneven as both teams were struggling to put a foothold in the game with many misplaced passes and lazy football. The first chance of the game came in the 5th minute as Hamblin saw the keeper off his line and attempted to lob him from the halfway line, the shot wrong footed the keeper who pushed it out for a corner which came to nothing. Swindon had a chance from nothing as a ball played forward was missed by the Hendon defence which allowed Fleetwood to run clear on goal. He took it too far and ran it out for a goal kick.

As the game went on Swindon began to gain a foothold in the game and push Hendon into their own half. This pressure nearly paid off as Ryan Cams played a ball to Guthrie who placed his effort just wide. Despite Swindon's pressure, Hendon nearly took the lead as Galliford danced into the box and hit an effort towards goal which was deflected and tipped past the post but out for a goal kick.

Hendon began to grow into the game and match the Swindon pressure as shots from Calcutt and Lucien tested the keeper. However, it was Swindon who made their pressure count as they spread the ball wide to Ryan Cam who delivered a ball straight into Harry WILLIAMS whose shot goal which was too powerful for debutant Dante Baptiste to keep out.

After the goal Swindon began to create more pressure and this nearly paid off as a Ryan Cam diving header glanced wide of the back post. However, minutes later Swindon added a second goal as tidy build up play from Fleetwood and Guthrie made space for another ball into WILLIAMS who tucked it home for 2-0

Swindon backed off and began to control the game to see it through to half-time.

The second half saw Swindon exerting less pressure and more control which led to a much quieter second half.

Harry Williams had the first chance of the half on the hour mark, but his effort sailed over the bar. 4 minutes later and Williams had another chance to claim the match ball as he met yet another wide ball but was this time denied by Baptiste with an excellent save.

Hendon were pressing further up the pitch in a bid to make a comeback and it nearly paid off as a long ball from Baptiste was controlled well by Lucien who did well to make space for himself, dart towards goal but could not find the target, his effort sailing over the bar.

The 80th minute dawned and to Hendon's credit who worked hard and continued to battle for every ball and attempt to get back into the game, but Swindon saw the game out and take all 3 points after an uneventful second half.
