Although announced as a 13:00 kick-off, the match did not actually start until 13:21. It appears that the reason for the delay may have been the late arrival of one or more match officials - certainly the match started with the referee and only one assistant, a Northwood substitute running the line until the arrival of the second assistant.
Hendon used the match to look at four or five trialists, to give game time to some members of the squad who needed playing minutes, and to re-introduce former player Tahjae Anderson, who was in the process of signing for the club.
Northwood went ahead on 19 minutes with a goal from their #11, this being the only score during the first period.
The second half saw the usual raft of substitutes, most of Hendon's being more seasonally experienced players, although an opportunity was taken to replace Josh Strizovic in goal with a trialist for the final 15 minutes.
Tobi Adaje scored the equaliser for the Greens about 10 minutes before the final whistle.
