On Easter Saturday afternoon the visit of the famous Northern Nomads (the Corinthians of the North) attracted a big crowd to the Avenue ground. The standard of play was of the highest, and the visitors proved too good for Hampstead, winning an interesting match by three goals to none. Howard Baker gave a remarkable display in goal for the visitors.
