The Town opened their Middlesex League programme on Saturday with an easy win over East Ham by 5 goals to 1.
The forwards led by A. Humphreys, opened in promising style and throughout the game were responsible for some extremely clever passing and shooting. Oscar James, a new recuit from the now defunct Kilburn FC was responsible for the first and second goals, and this player's dash and fine knowledge of the game gave great satisfaction to the large crowd present.
A third goal, just before the interval by A Humphreys with an excellent shot. The latter player completed the hat-trick in the second half with two fine efforts, and, but for the cleverness of Dennis, the visitors well-known custodian, the score might easily have been doubled.
East Ham's solitary point was the last goal scored, and was the result of a scrimmage in the Town area.
