The Hampstead Town second string, very considerably weakened by late withdrawals, due in most cases to slight accidents on the ice, met New Barnet Town and were beaten 4-1, the first reverse this season in the competition. This will, however, create greater interest in the division, as the two clubs are now running neck and neck for the championship.
