Hampstead Town paid a visit to Slough on Saturday to fulfil a friendly fixture with the club of that name. Slough are fortunate in possessing an excellent ground, but in common with every other ground at the weekend the surface was, like the luck sometimes, extremely hard. The players on both sides were not inclined to take risks, but an interesting game ended in the Town's favour by 3-2.
